I am new-shoes retarded, I swear. Every time I get new shoes, I spend the first day in them kicking myself in the ankles.  I've done this as long as I can remember. What the hell.

I love confusing the hell out of people. Some folks don't seem to be able to wrap their head around the fact that I think Valentine's Day is a stupid holiday. "But you have a boyfriend!" Yes, I do.  And every year it's an uphill battle trying to get him to NOT BUY ME STUFF on Valentine's Day.  This year I got off with a card and a small pot of tiny roses, which he assured me weren't expensive.  I mean, come on - buying a dozen long stemmed roses can run you fifty bucks this time of year!  Buy me roses when they're cheap, and buy me one, and I will love it much more. I don't think that people should need a "holiday" to remind them to show
